A commanding silhouette for moments of composure and clarity, these limited-edition spectacles are named for the capital of Zaire (now Democratic Republic of the Congo), where Muhammad Ali fought in the legendary “Rumble in the Jungle.” Inspired by the glasses Muhammad wore during a 1968 press conference at UCLA, where he spoke with calm authority about the cultural climate of America, a moment of profound gravitas mirrored in the evocative presence of this masterfully crafted collectible.
