SILMO eyewear fair
This year we went to Paris to focus on cementing and building our relationship with the brands we love and trust. We spent time discussing the ethics of business and manufacturing and came away very reassured of our partnerships.
Of course, it’s always inspiring to see new innovative eyewear and what all the enthusiasts are wearing. We couldn’t help but choose a few new W!NK specials!

To start our trip we were invited to Cannes by the Danish born brand, Lindberg. Lindberg always takes pride in detail and this incredible invitation was no exception.
We visited the Château de La Croix, where Leo, our gorgeous host, introduced us to the new collection and the limited edition “precious” range featuring Argyle diamonds and 18K solid gold. After being enticed by the grandeur of the Chateau and gardens, how could we resist bringing home these precious pieces to showcase in store.
Cannes was just beautiful. Jo’s oldest boy, Angus, came along for the trip so it was great to have fresh eyes on France! The Côte d'Azur region felt a bit different from the back packing days of the 90’s!
From there on to Paris where there is never a dull moment. We can’t go to Paris now without a bike ride along the Seine, as many meals as possible at (Jo’s!) @thebutcherofparis and to see our friend @revedegosse. We also somehow manage to fit in work.
